Dos Pueblos’ girls volleyball team swept Oxnard 25-17, 25-7, 25-14 on Tuesday night in a non-league match.
“We really minimized our errors tonight,” said Chargers head coach Todd Garrett. “We took care of the ball when it was on our side of the net. As always we served really tough too.”
Lauren Johnson, Karissa Mertens, Ali Milam, Cat Hogan and Paige Mathison played well according to Garrett, whose Chargers are off to a 3-0 start this season.
“It was a complete team effort tonight. The momentum never changed no matter what lineup we put in. I proud of the girls for that,” Garrett said.
