Judith Angulo led the Bishop High girls volleyball team with nine kills en route to a 3-0 sweep against Villanova on Tuesday. The Cardinals won the Tri Valley League matchup 25-23, 25-19, and 27-25.
Setter Amara Parris dished out 28 assists and knocked in six aces while Megan Garcia chipped in four kills.
Villanova managed to generate some momentum and surpass the Cardinals after being down by a large deficit early in Game 3. However, Celeste Cardena was able to put an end to the run and close out the match with two consecutive serves.
Bishop High is now 4-6 overall and 1-3 in league.
