Carpinteria’s girls tennis team looked strong in its Tri-Valley League opener on Tuesday in a 17-1 victory over Malibu.
Kelsie Bryant’s 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 day kept her undefeated through nine team matches this season.
The Warriors doubles teams captured all nine points in doubles play. The team of Merissa Souza and Lesly Zapata won three sets together while each of the other two starting teams rested in the third round.
