Mattea Kilstofte and Madison Hale were pillars of strength for Santa Barbara High’s girls tennis team on Thursday in a 12-6 non-league win over Westlake.
Kilstofte and Hale swept each of their three singles sets to capture six points for Santa Barbara. Lexy Gulden and Cade Sorensen teamed in doubles to credit the Dons with another three set wins. Maddie Cutler and Marianna Alevra brought in two victories.
It was the first dual match of the season for Santa Barbara (1-0), who reached the Division-1 final at the California Tennis Classic last week.
