Sierra Faoro and Ellee Braniff swept three sets in singles, and Bishop Diego’s three doubles teams all did the same in the Cardinals’ 18-0 victory over St. Bonaventure on Tuesday.
Faoro and Braniff were untouchable, recording 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 scores. After Rachel Kohnsamad won her first two sets, Zara Brillo-Sonnino came in and won her first high school match.
Bishop Diego’s doubles teams were equally as dominant. The tandems of Lilibeth Mamahua/Francesca Nash and Jackie Pacheco/Afreen Fathima recorded clean 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 days.
Bishop Diego (2-4, 2-3) plays Villanova next Tuesday.
