Three Royals were co-medalists at Sandpiper Golf Course on Wednesday in San Marcos’ 233-323 non-league victory over Santa Ynez.
Mallory Sestak, Remi Ho and Kelsey Gellert carried the Royals with matching 45s.
Molly Callaghan’s 55 led Santa Ynez.
San Marcos, 2-0 to start the season, travels to play Arroyo Grande at Cypress Ridge Golf Course on Thursday in its third match in three days.
“Our team score really showed a great effort by all of our team members, but I was really proud of Kelsey Gellert today; she bounced back and showed great leadership after a frustrating round yesterday,” reported San Marcos head coach Sarah Ashton. “I’m really pleased how we are playing this early in the season.”
