Dos Pueblos’ girls golf team followed up its season-low round with another victory on Wednesday in a 222-339 defeat of Oxnard at Glen Annie.
“After a long hot day yesterday in which we managed to still grind out some good scores, today we struggles a little,” reported Chargers coach Dan Choi. “It can be hard mentally and physically for the girls to go out on back to back tough days. Today the course got the better of us, but this is exactly the kind of experience that will help make us better in the future.”
The Chargers combined to shoot a season-best 191 on Tuesday.
Megan Caird was the medalist with a round of 39 on Wednesday.
The Chargers (6-1, 1-0) will play their third match in as many days on Thursday at Montecito Country Club versus Santa Barbara.
