Three home runs combined with the strong pitching of Nico Martinez carried the Goleta Valley South Little League 12-Under All-Stars to a 9-0 win over Dos Pueblos, advancing them into the championship game of the District 63 Tournament.
Martinez struck out 11 and threw a complete-game two-hitter.
Issac Villarreal gave his pitcher an early lead with a three-run homer in the first inning. Jack Winterbauer added a two-run blast in the third.
Anthony Martinez capped off the scoring with a grand slam in the fourth inning.
Goleta Valley South will play either Dos Pueblos or Ojai for the district title on Wednesday.
