San Marcos freshman Isabel Bassi earned her “A” rating on the beach by combining with Molly Feldmeth of South Pasadena to win the California Beach Volleyball Association Women’s Unrated Tournament at Playa del Rey on Sunday.
Bassi/Feldmeth defeated Megan Jacobson and Wendy Mace in the final. Feldmeth played as a freshman on the South Pasadena High varsity indoor team.
Bassi recently completed the Interscholastic Beach Volleyball League season for San Marcos. She and partner Clare Holehouse tied for seventh in the pairs championships.
