Jack Winterbauer and Nico Martinez combined on no-hitter, striking out 9 out of 13 batters faced, and Goleta Valley South Little League rolled to a 12-0 win over Ojai Valley in a 12-under District 63 All-Star tournament game on Saturday.
Goleta Valley South finished pool play with a 4-1 record. It will open the double-elimination portion of the tournament on Monday against host Santa Paula.
Nico Martinez led the offense against Ojai Valley with a two-run homer during an eight-run third inning. He finished with 3 hits and 3 RBIs. Winterbauer, Josh Swanson, and Isaac Villarreal all had 2 hits and scored a run.
