The San Marcos setter-hitter combination of Christian Widmer and Shane Hauschild has been named to the All-CIF Division 2 volleyball team.
The senior duo led the Royals to a 28-4 record, their first Channel League title since 2003 and a CIF semifinal berth. The outside-hitting Hauschild was Widmer’s primary option in the San Marcos attack.
Also chosen to the team is Santa Barbara High’s dependable outside hitter Tristan Fauntleroy. The senior was the kill leader for the Dons.
Laguna Blanca junior libero Ryan Bickett was named to the All-CIF Division 5 squad.
