Dillon Dobson hit a walk-off two-run single in the ninth innlng, lifting the Foresters to an 8-7 win over the Southern California Catch.
The Catch took a 7-5 lead in the top of the ninth inning when Cooper Esmay hit his second homer of the game, a two-run blast.
In the bottom of the ninth, Jeremy Montalbano drew a walk, Dave Graybill singled and Granger Studdard walked to load the bases. Bret Boswell walked to force in Montalbano to make it 7-6. Dobson came up as a pinch hitter and singled to drive in the tying and winning runs.
A triple by Grant Davis and a single by Cole Atwood gave the Foresters a 2-1 lead. After a ground out, Jaylin Davis tripled to score Atwood for a 3-1 advantage. Davis went 3-for-4.
Esmay blasted a three-run homer in the eighth to put the Catch into the lead, 4-3.
The Foresters answered back in the bottom of the eighth. Studdard led off with a single and advanced to second flyout to center field. Walker drew and Reggie Southall moved the runners over with a bunt. Grant Davis came up and scored both runners with an RBI single, giving the Foresters a 5-4 lead.
