Carpinteria dropped its softball finale to Fillmore, 14-2, on Tuesday.
Tatiana Requejo hit a solo home run in the second inning and Nataiie Saito had a RBI hit in the third to account for the Warriors’ runs. Requejo, Saito and Scarlett Petitine each had two hits.
Carpinteria finished the year at 6-21 and 3-9 in the TVL.
“We are disappointed on how we ended our season but very optimistic for the future,” coach Henry Gonzalez said. “We lose only one starter/senior, so a lot of players with experience and talent will be returning. This gives us very good reason to look forward to next season.”
