Lani Evans and Madison Pickett combined on a three-hit shutout, leading Dos Pueblos to a 9-0 Channel League softball win over San Marcos on Friday.
Evans struck out eight in four innings of work and Pickett fanned three in three innings.
Evans also paced the DP offense, going 2-for-3 with a two-run home run. Jade Sinskul was 2-for-2 with a double, and Bailey King had a pair of hits. The Chargers collected 13 hits in the game.
Dos Pueblos improves to 18-5 and 9-1 in Channel League. San Marcos falls to 9-12, 1-7.
