Channel League co-champions Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara High drew home games for the opening round of the CIF Division 1 tennis playoffs on Wednesday.
In Division 4, Condor League champ Cate received the No. 2 seeding and got a first-round bye. The Owls will play a wild-card round winner in the second round on Friday. Laguna Blanca and Santa Ynez also will open the D-4 tournament in the second round.
Santa Barbara faces a difficult road in the playoffs. The Dons open against Glendale and the winner takes on top-seeded University in the second round.
Dos Pueblos, coming of a historic regular season, hosts Crescenta Valley in the first round.
San Marcos and Channel League singles champion Kento Perera travel to Calabasas to play Viewpoint in a D-1 opener.
Cate, which is playing its best tennis at the end of the season, will play Morro Bay or Orcutt Academy in a second-match. Laguna Blanca, the Condor League runner-up, hosts the winner of the wild-card match between Cajon and Northview. Santa Ynez will play host to either Orange or Riverside Poly.
