Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team clinched its second straight Condor League title on Saturday with a 25-13, 25-10, 25-8 sweep of Providence.
The Owls have won 21-of-22 sets in league play. Laguna Blanca (16-3, 7-0) plays again on Monday against Providence Burbank. Laguna’s final regular season match is Wednesday at Dunn.
“Our setters did a great job of attacking the Providence block in specific rotations that we planned for, and ran a very efficient offense today,” reported Laguna Blanca head coach Dillan Bennett.
Middles Andrew Vignolo and Jack Copeland, and opposite hitter Colton Johnson were the benefactors. Vignolo and Copeland combined for 16 kills and only two errors while Johnson converted eight kills on 13 attempts.
