Laguna Blanca’s Andrew Vignolo, Colton Johnson, Cuyler Zimmerman and Kiyan Mashhoon made it a memorable Senior Night as the four soon-to-be high school graduates combined for 28 of the team’s 36 kills in a 25-23, 25-10, 25-16 non-league victory over Providence Burbank.
“They represented their careers well tonight against a scrappy Providence team,” said Owls head coach Dillan Bennett.
Vignolo had a team-high 10 kills and Ryan Bickett collected 27 digs.
Laguna Blanca (17-3, 7-0) completes its regular season on Wednesday at Dunn. The Owls will learn their CIF opponent on Friday.
