Bishop Diego’s boys volleyball team dropped its final Tri-Valley League match on Tuesday, as Nordhoff came away with a 23-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17 victory.
The decision evens Bishop’s league record at 6-6, putting the Cardinals in a third-place tie with Nordhoff. Both schools have qualified for CIF, but a coin-flip will determine which school gets the third and fourth seed from the Tri-Valley League.
Will Busch recorded a team-high 13 kills and had four blocks. Grant Sexton added 11 kills and five digs.
“We jumped on them early. Then they stabilized their game and we didn’t,” explained Cardinals head coach Jason Donnelly.
