Gustavo Bello won the 1600 and 800 to lead the Santa Barbara High boys track and field team to a 64-62 dual meet win over Buena on Wednesday.
Bello ran 4:50.34 in the 1600 and took the 800 in 2:04.15.
Skylar Payovich had good day in the throws, going 42-2 in the shot put and 139-08 in the discus. R.J. Adderly ran 16.93 in the 110 hurdles and 46.42 in the 300 hurdles.
Jordan Guzman ran 52.98 in the 400 and anchored the Dons’ 4×400 relay team to victory. Andres Castro, Finn Arnesen and Will Pritchard are the other members of the team.
In the girls meet, Buena won 76-36. Kelli Martindale of Santa Barbara won the shot put at 34-0 and captured the 100 hurdles in 16.93
Martindale and Natasha Feshbach will be competing in the heptathlon at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational on Thursday.
