Stamatia Scarvelis posted her second longest outdoor mark in the shot put and Andrew McGuan doubled in the 800 and 3200, leading the Dos Pueblos track teams to wins over Santa Barbara High on Thursday.
The Charger girls won 85-40 and the boys score was 92.25-31.75.
Scarvelis, the two-time defending CIF state champion in the shot put and the national leader, threw 52-5, placing it behind her national-leading mark of 53-3.50. She threw 155-0 in the discus, her third longest mark of the season.
McGuan led a DP sweep in the 800 with a time of 2:02.53. He then won the 3200 in 10:01.81.
DP’s McClure sisters, Natalie and Elaine, went 1-2 in the girls 3200. Natalie’s winning time was 11:52.28.
Addi Zerrenner held off Santa Barbara’s Ruth Hunter to win the 1600 in 5:21.05.
Hunter captured the 800 (2:28.15) to lead a Santa Barbara sweep; Cambria De La Cruz and Lauren Wolf were second and third.
Santa Barbara multi-events competitor Natasha Feshbach showed her multiple talents, winning four events: the 200, 400, high jump and long jump.
For the SBHS boys, William Pritchard won the 100 and 200.
DP got double wins from Jon Dickinson in the shot put and discus, and Megan Gee in the girls 100 and 300 hurdles.
