Dos Pueblos dropped a Channel League dual meet against Ventura on Wednesday.
The Cougar won the girls competition 79.5-47.5, and the boys were victorious, 85-42.
DP throwers Jon Dickinson and Stamatia Scarvelis were double winners. Dickinson threw 52-10 in the shot put and 149-08 in the discus. Scarvelis posted marks of 50-07 in the shot and 153-05 in the discus.
Charger teammates Natalie Klapp and Niema Poindexter finished in a tie for first in the 100. Klapp was second in the 200 (26.84).
Addi Zerrenner ran away from the field in the 3200 and won by almost a full minute with a time of 10:51.25.
Natalie McClure ran her best time in 1600 (5:19) and finished second. She took third in her first 800 race in 2:29.14.
Highlights for the boys included Blayke Harrison winning the 200 (23.70) and taking second in the 100 (11.77). Tate Cutcliffe improved his best in the pole vault with a winning mark of 14-3. Tyler Bradford ran 1:59.33 to win the 800. Josh Fry was second in the high with a personal best of 6-2.
