Peter Ramos swept the weight events and Carpinteria’s sprinters turned in good effort in a 69-64 non-league dual meet victory over Santa Paula on Wednesday.
Gaby Fantone won both hurdles races for Carpinteria’s girls, but Santa Paula won the meet 82-43.
Joel Montes (11.56) and Oscar Garcia (11.89) went 1-2 in the 100 and Terence Ayala (23.91) captured the 200. The Warriors also took the 4×100 relay (45.77).
Ramos won the shot put at 37-10.75 and the discus with a mark of 138-6.
Fantone won the 100 hurdles in 18.10 and came back to take the 300 hurdles in 53.26.
