Ali Everson threw a no-hitter, as Bishop Diego blanked Cate 14-0 in a non-league softball game on Tuesday.
Everson struck out six and got some clutch defensive plays from infielder Sarah Leicht to keep the Rams hitless.
Everson also contributed to the offense, going 2-for-4 with a double.
Kylie Koepper led the Bishop attack with two doubles and two RBIs. Freshman Lily Dallows executed a perfect squeeze bunt to score a runner from third; Bella Gregson had a double and scored three runs and Marissa Cordero went 2-for-2 and scored twice.
Bishop plays at Grace Brethren in a Frontier League game on Thursday.
