Bishop Diego’s bats were blazing on Thursday, banging out 10 hits in a 14-0 win over Villanova in a Frontier League softball game.
Amanda Munoz each had two hits and drove in three runs, while Ali Everson also had a pair of hits, including a double, and a RBI.
Marissa Cordero and Lindsay Bosio each scored three runs, and Bosio threw out four Villanova runners attempting to steal a base.
On the mound, Isabella Gregson and Everson combined on a two-hitter. Gregson struck out seven.
The Cardinal improved to 2-1 in the Frontier league.
