San Marcos remains the No. 1 team in CIF Division 2 boys volleyball.
The Royals, who won their first Channel League championship since 2003, are 25-3 on the season. On Monday, they swept South Pasadena, the top-ranked team in Division 3.
Santa Barbara is ranked fifth and Dos Pueblos is sixth in the D-2 poll.
Laguna Blanca is ranked fourth in Division 5.
In boys tennis, Cate has moved up to third in Division 4. The Rams knocked off Santa Ynez and Laguna Blanca last week. They’re ranked seventh and eighth, respectively.
In softball, Dos Pueblos fell from the No. 1 spot in Division 4 to fourth. The Chargers suffered a loss to Buena in Channel League and dropped two one-run games against in the Thousand Oaks Tournament.
