Morgan Pierce blasted 17 kills, leading Cate’s boys volleyball team to a four-set win at Fillmore on Friday night. The scores were 20-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-19.
Oliver Welch contributed to the Cate attack with 10 kills and three blocks. Spencer Whiteman and Pierce shared setting duties and handed out 20 and 13 assists, respectively.
Cate improves to 3-1.
