Mason Picerni was a force at the net for the Carpinteria boys volleyball team, leading the Warriors toa 25-17, 25-9 25-19 sweep over Orcutt Academy on Wednesday.
Picerni had 12 kills and a six blocks in the match. Luis Ceja added eight kills and setter Jesus Ortega dished out 17 assists for Carpinteria, which improved to 2-4 overall.
