Sophomore Cord Pereira is started to settle in as the varsity setter for the Santa Barbara High boys volleyball team.
Pereira handed out a career-best 40 assists to lead the Dons to a 25-10, 25-23, 25-16 sweep over Ventura in a Channel League match.
“We won in business-like fashion,” Santa Barbara coach Chad Arneson said. “Everybody got a chance to play.”
