Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team swept Providence on Saturday 25-11, 25-14, 25-9 in a Condor League match.
The trio of Andrew Vignolo, Colton Johnson and Ethan Katnic combined for 27 kills to go with just four errors for Laguna Blanca.
Despite the sweep, Owls head coach Dillan Bennett thought his team could have done better on Saturday.
“If we want to be a title-contending team, we have to do better than we did today,” Bennett reported. “No matter the result of a match, we have to find a way to get better every time we step on the court whether that is practice or our upcoming league matches.”
Providence head coach Willy Rossow would also like to see his team play better in the second league match between the two schools.
“We will play our game next time, as we can do better,” Rossow said.
Josh Dillon, Jade Granada and Caleb Jones led the Patriots, with Dillon recording a team-high four kills.
