Santa Barbara High’s boys volleyball coach Chad Arneson got to rest his starters in a sweep over Buena on the eve of the Karch Kiraly Tournament of Champions.
The Dons won 25-16, 25-17, 25-15 to improve to 10-7 overall and 4-2 in league.
Jasper Rhodes paced the Dons with 11 kills, Hayden Millington added 9, Jonah Iwanaga had 6 and 3 blocks and Nico Smith contributed 5 in the middle.
“We got to play everybody,” Arneson said. “We’re looking forward to playing La Costa Canyon in our first-round (TOC) match.”
