Kevin Ha swept his three singles sets and Cate’s doubles team of Michael Revord and Jack Hoover went 3-0, leading the Rams to an 11-7 non-league tennis win over San Marcos on Friday.
The Rams got two singles wins from No. 2 Jason Xiao as they took advantage of the absence of the Royals’ top player Kento Perera.
Revord-Hoover won a 6-4 set against San Marcos’ Daniel Coulson-Matthew Lockwood to give the Rams a big lift in doubles. Shuta Kobayashi and Christian Herman won two sets for Cate.
