Bishop Diego swept nine doubles sets and Spencer Ekola improved his season record to 18-0 in a 14-4 win over Villanova in a Frontier League boys tennis match on Tuesday.
The Cardinals’ No. 1 doubles team of Dylan Pierz and Jose Pacheco dropped only one game and improved their overall record to 14-1
Jake Stratford-Jones/Cameron Krul and Mathew Johnson/Cameron Roberts both went 3-0.
“The boys have been working hard on consistency and doubles strategy,” coach Debbie Ekola said. “They are enjoying their victories!”
