Santa Barbara High won its fourth straight tennis match, routing Arroyo Grande 17-1 on Wednesday.
“Last week was our spring break, so I was concerned we would be a bit rusty but our guys were focused and played well,” Santa Barbara coach Greg Tebbe said.
Morgan Hale went 3-0 in singles, and the Dons won all nine doubles sets, led by the No. 1 team of Miles Hale and Harry Deboer.
“Miles Hale and Harry Deboer did not lose a game in their three matches,” Tebbe said.
Santa Barbara improves to 5-3 on the season.
“We are excited for the second half of our season as we have a lot of big matches coming up,” Tebbe said.
Next up for the Dons is a match at San Marcos on April 8 followed by a home match against Dos Pueblos on April 10.
