“Overall, it was a good first meet for us,” San Marcos boys coach Jeff Ashton said. “I was probably most impressed with Kuesis’ swims. He is near his season-ending times of last year. Patrick Rowley is also a good addition to our team. He is a 9th grader but will definitely have a big impact this season.”
Amanda Hayes posted two CIF consideration times for the San Marcos girls. The freshman swam a 1:08.82 in the 100 breast and a 2:13.58 in the 200 IM. Her 200 IM time was a personal best.
Olivia Smith clocked a CIF consideration 100 Butterfly (1:00.13) and Paige Hauschild’s covered the 500 free in 5:17.79.
Coach Chuckie Roth also praised Halie Johnson for posting several early season best times.
