Dos Pueblos defeated Arcadia on Saturday 4-1 in a time-shortened game that was limited to five innings.
Lani Evans pitched a complete game for the Chargers and struck out nine batters in the five innings of work as the Chargers improve to 4-1 on the season.
The result puts Dos Pueblos in the consolation final of the Suzanne Manlet Tournament, where the Chargers will face Righetti. In the meantime, it was the last non-league game before Dos Pueblos begins Channel League play on Tuesday at home against Santa Barbara.
Kai Uyesaka was 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and run scored. Jade Sinskul was 2-for-2 with an RBI.
Arcadia took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and held the advantage until the Chargers plated four in the top of the fourth. Monica Salas began the rally with a single, followed by an RBI triple from Uyesaka. Ali Milam, Ady Willett and Uyesaka crossed home in the inning.
