Carpinteria was no-hit by Oaks Christian in a 14-0 loss in a Tri-Valley League softball game on Thursday.
“We did not rise to the challenge of playing one of the best teams in the state and nation,” Carpinteria coach Henry Gonzalez said. “We have to learn to play to the best of our ability and not be concerned as to who we are playing.”
The Warriors fell to 3-15 and 0-4 in the TVL.
