Santa Barbara High’s three-game winning streak was snapped by Cabrillo on Saturday morning, but the Dons started a new one with a 4-2 victory over Carpinteria thanks to a walk-off homer by Jasmine Manson.
Natalie Saito gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead against the Dons until Santa Barbara tied it in the bottom of the fourth. Manson singled home Emilia Sanchez after Olivia Harris had scored earlier in the inning.
Manson’s game-winning home run came with Marissa Holguin on base.
Cabrillo snapped the Dons’ three-game win streak with a 17-0 decision earlier in the day.
Santa Barbara (4-4) begins Channel League play on Tuesday at Dos Pueblos.
