Bishop Diego won its first softball game of the season, scoring three runs in the top of the seventh to beat Malibu 10-9 in a wild Frontier League contest.
The Cardinals took a 6-1 lead, but Malibu roared back and went ahead 7-6 in the sixth.
In the seventh, Sarah Leich walked, stole second and scored on a base hit from Marissa Cordero. Cordero scored on a base hit by Bella Gregson and Gregson came around to score on a double from Lindsay Bosio.
Gregson led a potent Bishop attack, going 4-for-5 with a triple, double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Bosio was 3-4 with three RBis and Cordero scored runs and had three hits.
