Sam Metzger shot a 75 to earn medalist honors and lead San Marcos to a 394-439 victory over Camarillo at par-71 Spanish Hills Golf Course on Thursday.
Niels Anderson fired a 76 and Bennett Reichard shot a 77 as the Royals improved to 4-0 on the season.
“I’m proud of the guys for gutting it out today,” San Marcos coach
Aaron Solis said. “It was a difficult course that only one player had ever seen before, and the greens wre the fastest we have seen all year. It took a while for us to adjust.”
