San Marcos High’s title at the Redondo Tournament has propelled it to the No. 1 ranking in this week’s CIF Division 2 boys volleyball poll.
The Royals knocked off Division 1 seventh-ranked Redondo in the title match. They are 9-0 going into matches this week.
Santa Barbara is No. 3 and Dos Pueblos is sixth in the poll. The Channel League rivals meet Thursday at DP
In Division 5, Laguna Blanca is ranked ninth. The Owls play No. 8 Arrowhead Christian on Friday.
Dos Pueblos is ranked second in Division 4 softball. In baseball, Cate is sixth in Division 7.
