Chandler Swift was a big point producer for the Bishop Diego boys volleyball team in a 3-1 win over visiting Carpinteria on Tuesday night.
Swift pounded 15 kills and served seven aces in a 25-9, 24-26, 25-13, 25-15 Tri-Valley League victory. Nick Busch added 10 kills for the Cardinals, who improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in league.
Bishop coach Jason Donnelly praised libero Jonathan Miranda, who had nine digs and three aces.
The Warriors (0-3 overall and in TVL) were led by Mason Picerni with eight kills and eight blocks, five coming in the second set. Austin Myers had three blocks and Jose Angeles added five kills.
