Cate spread its offense around and outlasted Nordhoff in five sets, 16-25, 25-16, 25-23, 22-25, 16-14, in a non-league boys volleyball match on Friday.
“We put it all together tonight,” Cate coach Greg Novak said. “We looked really good. I’m really proud of them.”
Mo Batal and Spencer Towle each put away 11 kills and Morgan Pierce and Oliver Welch had 10 apiece for the Rams.
Cate plays at Dunn on Wednesday.
