Bishop Diego pushed Oaks Christian in the first set but ended up losing in three on the road Thursday. The set scores in the Tri-Valley League match were 30-28, 25-11, 25-23.
“We definitely had out chances, particularly in game 1,” Bishop coach Jason Donnelly said. “A couple of key plays go our way and it would have been a different match.”
Will Busch had eight kills and Grant Sexton added six kills and picked up seven digs for Bishop (6-6, 3-1)
