San Marcos opened with six straight set victories en route to a 13-5 win over Buena in the Channel League tennis opener for both teams on Tuesday.
“We came out strong with a 6-0 first round, with four of the six set scores 6-0 or 6-1,” said San Marcos coach Jarrod Bradley.
Owen Lincoln played No. 1 singles and went 2-0 in sets. Nicolas Leeds and Matthew Lockwood went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles.
The Royals improve to 4-2.
