Jack Baker got it done at both ends of the court for the Santa Barbara High boys basketball team.
The 6-6 senior was the leader in scoring (12.3 ppg), rebounding (16.4 rpg) and blocked shots (4.6 bpg) , helping the Dons to a perfect 12-0 record in the Channel League. The coaches recognized Baker’s play by naming him the league’s Most Valuable Player.
Baker was a first-team selection last season.
Santa Barbara’s Dave Bregante was honored as the league’s Coach of the Year. He’s guided the Dons to back-to-back Channel League titles.
