Dos Pueblos wrestlers Eden Martinez and Cameron Cox went undefeated on the first day of the CIF Inland Division Tournament and advanced to the semifinals at Temecula High.
Martinez upset the No 3 seeded wrestler in the 147-pound class in his run to the semis. Cox advanced in the 128-pound weight class. Both wrestlers are Channel League champions.
Four other DP wrestlers are still alive in the consolation bracket. They are Noah Stevens (108 pounds) Jeffy Uyesaka (134), Jonathan Coronado (154) and Diego Lopez (162).
The top five place finishers from the division finals advance to the Masters Meet next weekend.
