UCSB’s season-opening baseball series against North Carolina State has officially been cancelled, the school announced Thursday. Severe winter weather in the east prevented the Wolfpack from flying west.
UCSB’s Sports Information Department reported that coach Andrew Checketts is working tirelessly to line up an alternative opponent for the weekend.
