Moorpark used a 19-4 run to build a 15-point second-half lead on Saturday and went on to defeat SBCC 69-57 in a women’s basketball game at the Sports Pavilion.
Elia Salazar led the Vaqueros (9-13, 1-7 WSC North) with 10 points and seven rebounds and Jasmine Mata had nine points.
The Vaqueros led 32-29 at the half but were outscored 40-25 in the second stanza.
The second-place Raiders (16-9, 7-2) outshot the Vaqueros 45 to 35 percent and hit 18-23 free throws while the home team struggled at 54 percent (13 of 24).
SBCC will host Cuesta on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
