Bishop Diego’s girls soccer team earned a point on the road with a 0-0 draw against St.Bonaventure in a Frontier League match on Tuesday.
“They came out stronger in the first half. We held them off and came out stronger in the second half,” Bishop coach Tessa Binkley said. “Overall, it was a very evenly matched game.”
Binkley praised the play Hanna Brand and Jessica Brosnan in goal and Monica Robles on the defensive back line.
The Cardinals (9-5-3 and 3-2-2 in league) play at Santa Clara on Thursday.
