Amber Melgoza scored 18 points, and Santa Barbara High finished the regular season strong, winning 65-24 over San Marcos on Wednesday night.
The Dons blew the game open with a 29-2 third quarter.
Alyssa Cosio scored a career-high 13 points and grabbed five rebounds and Dezzy Coleman added 10 points for the Dons, who finished 6-2 in Channel League. Their only losses were to Ventura, the No. 2-ranked team in CIF Division 1A.
Santa Barbara (21-5) will go into the CIF playoff as the top-seeded team in the 3AA Division. The playoff draw will be released on Sunday.
